DMZ Trip

It's been a month since I last posted. It's been hot and humid here and now it's getting busy.

I returned from a faculty retreat yesterday. We visited Korea's DMZ at the very NE corner of the country. We had a good time, visiting the 22nd Infantry Division (and tank battalion), and then heading up to the DMZ itself. We had to don camo tops, for some reason (it was never really explained to me). We looked over into North Korea and even got to see North Korean guard posts on closed-circuit TV that the South Korean military had going.
