Weekend

I was incommunicado over the weekend, as I stayed at a house we own where the internet was cut off. Actually, we had internet for some time, but the telecom company evidently finally figured out it was supposed to be disconnected.

I just heard from my son today that out of the sixty-some musical acts who competed in the first leg of the Battle of the Bands, his and one other were chosen. Congratulations, son!

The weather continues to be hot and humid, so I'm mainly sitting in front of a couple fans to keep cool (this apartment doesn't have airconditioning).
